Introduction to CADD, Using MicroStation V8: This courseware is used by Professor Samir Haque, Pasadena City College. Introduction computer-aided design and drafting with Bentley’s MicroStation CAD software tools to create simple 2D drawings for engineering design projects along with CAD techniques, CAD production skills and principles are stressed.

GEOPAK: This courseware includes instructor notes and data sets on CD, Web pages, and testing materials. This is used by Professor Tom Rioux at the University of Texas.

Integrating CAD/GIS Solutions: This courseware is used by Professor Zlatanova, TU Delft. MicroStation GeoGraphics is an integrated CAD/GIS solution with wide geoengineering functionality. It extends MicroStation industry-standard data capture and editing tools with a solid database interface and spatial analysis functions.

Introduction to Geoengineering Analysis: Equips students to understand geo engineering analysis, develop skills in computer-aided mapping, database development, and GIS analysis.

Introduction to Architectural Computer Aided Design: Helps students understand CAD as it relates to architecture. They will develop skills in 2D CAD, and 3D architectural modeling and rendering.
MicroStation PowerDraft Student Manual*:  Basic introduction to computer aided design using a 2D/3D modeling tool using MicroStation PowerDraft (162 pages, self-paced).

MicroStation PowerDraft Instructor Guide*:
18-week course outline for instructors to use as a basis for their teaching style.
3D CADD Modeling Using MicroStation V8: This courseware is used by Professor Samir Haque, Pasadena City College.  Solid/surface modeling tools and theory.  Using MicroStation to produce 3D CAD models to shorten design cycles, create visualizations, interference checking and parts interchangeability.

RoadWay Design - Using InRoads: This is courseware used by Professor Howard Turner at California PolyTechnic University, geared toward upper level university students. Includes labs, tests etc.

*In accordance with ITEA standards.   Available to non-subscribers. These manuals are part of the free download package.

Civil Engineering Senior Design Project: Courseware is prepared and used by Professor Ramon Sierra, P.E. and Jose A. Quintana, P.E. from FIU.  The objective of the compulsory senior course is to experience the design of a practical project utilizing knowledge learned from previous courses in order to present a final solution.   The design requirements are performed under the supervision of a faculty member and a professional engineer with special emphasis on five educational objectives:  Technical Proficiency, Communication, Responsible Citizenship, Lifelong Learning, and Ethical Behavior.

MicroStation PowerDraft XM Edition Guides:  Guides for students and instructors on MicroStation PowerDraft XM Edition is now available for download.
