Greg Bentley
Chief Executive Officer, Bentley
Greg Bentley has been CEO of Bentley Systems since 2000, president since 1995, and chairman of the board since 1994. When he joined his four founding brothers at Bentley in 1991, the company had 35 colleagues.

Bentley now has more than 2400 colleagues and annual revenues surpassing $400 million, and was named the Technology Company of the Year by the Eastern Technology Council in 2005. The company’s comprehensive portfolio for the building, plant, civil, and geospatial verticals spans architecture, engineering, construction (AEC) and operations. Bentley is the leading provider of AEC software to the Engineering News-Record Top 500 Design Firms and major owner-operators.

Prior to 1991, Mr. Bentley founded and served as CEO of Devon Systems International, Inc., a provider of financial trading software. In 1987, that company was acquired by SunGard Data Systems, Inc. He served as a director of SunGard, one of the world’s largest IT vendors, from 1991 until its $11-billion+ going-private transaction in 2005. Mr. Bentley earned a bachelor's degree in Decision Sciences in 1976 and an M.B.A. in Finance in 1977 from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Keith Bentley
Director and Chief Technology Officer, Bentley

Keith A. Bentley co-founded Bentley Systems in 1984 and has been CTO since 2000.  Mr. Bentley was the company’s CEO until 2000, president until 1995, and has also served as a director and an executive officer since Bentley’s inception. Mr. Bentley holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.

Malcolm Walter
Chief Operating Officer, Bentley

Malcolm S. Walter joined Bentley in 1999 and has served as COO and senior vice president since 2000. Walter has responsibility for Bentley’s global sales and marketing organizations. Prior to joining Bentley, Walter was CFO for R&B, Inc., a NASDAQ listed company and a worldwide distributor of automotive parts for aftermarket repair. Previously, Walter held positions in finance and operations with several technology companies. Walter is a C.P.A. and worked for Arthur Andersen for six years.

Alton B. (Buddy) Cleveland
Senior Vice President, Bentley Software
Alton B. (Buddy) Cleveland, Jr. is Bentley’s senior vice president of Applied Research. From 2000 to 2007, Cleveland held the role of senior vice president and general manager of Bentley Software. Prior to that role, Cleveland served as senior vice president of Bentley’s Model Engineering Business Group. Cleveland joined Bentley in December 1997 when Bentley acquired Jacobus Technology, which he founded and served as president from its inception in 1991 until 1999. Before founding Jacobus Technology, Cleveland had a 20-year career with Bechtel Corporation, where he last served as the manager of Automation Technology. Cleveland holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.

Bhupinder Singh
Senior Vice President, Platform Products, Bentley Software
Bhupinder Singh joined Bentley in 1994 and is the senior vice president of Bentley Software. Bentley Software is responsible for the strategic direction and management of all Bentley’s software products and development activities. Previously, Singh served as Bentley’s senior vice president of the Platform Products Group. Prior to joining Bentley, Singh held various software engineering positions at Montgomery Watson Hazra and Intergraph Corporation. Singh is a graduate in Civil Engineering with a B.Tech from I.I.T Delhi and holds master’s degrees in Structural Engineering from Vanderbilt University and in Computer Science from Rutgers University

Brad Workman
Vice President, Bentley Building

Brad Workman is responsible for all product development and management activities for Bentley’s content creation products. He joined Bentley in 1994 and in 1996 was appointed director of the Building Engineering products organization where he focused on producing a product suite. He was responsible for establishing the Building Engineering team at Bentley and introducing MicroStation TriForma as Bentley’s flagship building and plant engineering product.

Gabe Norona
Senior Vice President, Bentley Civil

Mr. Norona is now responsible for all aspects of Bentley Civil operations, including civil product development and product management, and the activities of the civil solutions units comprised of both the GEOPAK and the InRoads-based staffs. He joined Bentley in September of 2001, bringing with him more than 18 years of computer-aided design experience in civil engineering. Mr. Norona is one of the founders of GEOPAK Corporation, serving as president and CEO since its inception in 1990.

Styli Camateros
Vice President, Bentley Geospatial
At Bentley, Mr. Camateros first occupied the role of vice president of Imaging and Publishing Technologies. Earlier, he worked in the consulting engineering community and in IT consulting before founding HMR Inc. in 1991. As president of HMR Inc. Mr. Camateros led the team that developed MicroStation Descartes, MicroStation ReproGraphics and ModelServer Imager. During his tenure, HMR Inc. became the Bentley Strategic Affiliate for Imaging in 1997 and then merged with Bentley in April 2000.

Rob Whitesell
Vice President, Bentley Plant

Prior to joining Bentley, Mr. Whitesell was president and CEO of ESSI, LLC, a company he co-founded in 1997. He led ESSI through a number of significant events, including capital investments from Fluor and Bechtel and the company’s eventual acquisition by Bentley Systems, Incorporated, in January of 2004. Mr. Whitesell has more than 15 years of experience in delivering solutions for engineering information management to some of the largest companies in the world. He is recognized as an expert in the field of data warehousing for engineering and has made practical contributions to standardization efforts by implementing theoretical models in real-world technologies.
